On Monday 7th of September Claire Marshall, Schools Programme Officer with Concern, visited Scoil Mhuire.
This is was Claire’s second visit to our school and we were very happy to welcome her again.
Claire spoke to the pupils about her recent visit to Ethiopia.
The pupils and teachers enjoyed the presentation greatly. Claire’s photographs, stories and PowerPoint presentation helped the pupils understand how important their generous donations are in helping so very many people in the Developing World.
Claire praised the pupils and school community in Scoil Mhuire for their continued generosity to Concern. Over the past number of years the pupils and staff in this school have raised many thousands of euro for Concern.
We look forward to working with Concern during the coming school year in Concern’s ‘Hunger Heroes’ Campaign.
