Knockavilla N.S. faced Ballina N.S. in the decider of the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol U11 C County Hurling Championship in Semple Stadium on Wednesday, May 25th. Knockavilla started brightly with an early goal from Dylan Sexton. However Ballina responded in turn with a goal and a point to put them into the lead. Ballina would never relinquish this advantage and led at the interval by five points. Knockavilla N.S. remained in contention though, reducing the margin to just three points with ten minutes to play. Alas, it was not to be as Ballina N.S. pressed home their advantage in the final few minutes to secure victory. Well done to all involved.
