Mrs Healy’s 2nd & 3rd class have completed their entry for the national Reel Life Science competition. Their project is entitled Super Sphagnum and looks at sphagnum moss from Cappamurra Bog and its uses during 1916.
A WW1 hospital was re-created in the school for the creation of our film. Some patients had to remain on trollies and even more were treated by doctors while on the floor, all soldiers survived thanks to the expert treatment received by hospital staff.
